Alright ladies, so you wanna be a rich girl? Instead of relying on your old man's money, here is an awesome money making strategy.
Invest in IPOs.
Although it does involve making and maintaining connections, if you buy stock at the initial public offerings for new companies, you can assure yourself a healthy income. However there is some strategy. When a new company first issues its stock, make sure you get in on it. Then immediately sell it because the stock will most likely skyrocket for a new corporation. If you decide you really like the company, wait a little until the stock climbs back down and invest again, all the time watching your profit rise.
Is life as complicated as it seems?
I feel I'm just hoping for my dreams
I find myself taking sedatives
In hopes to just get back to bed
Planning seems worthwhile at the time
But ultimately a waste of what's mine
Time is ours and to sleep seems a waste
But consequently what would be replaced
Does drinking really ease the pain
Too dumb enough to plead my case
There are those who always try
To listen to solemn empty cries
But listening is such an empty mask
We all can prove we want to ask
How does it feel to feel alone
It's simple, because we all have known
Lost in thought; a blessing, a curse
Too many options to traverse
Is it simplicity that we fear
While through our lives it always leers
Might one even be so bold
Hoping for just a hand to hold
Some suggest that all we need
Is just a common way to succeed
I know what I'm looking for
A friendly face and open door
Life's that simple
I think.
As many of you know, I am a man of very few words, so I find it fitting to keep this first post very short.
In honor of the first snowfall of the year, I would like to share one of my favorite memories with all of you. It's actually quite simple. Last year around this same time I was walking back to the oh so lovely middlebrook hall at 2am, and coincidentally enough, it was the first snowfall of my freshman year. I turned on my iPod and without thought put on "Peace" by Norah Jones. It doesn't really matter what I thought about on the walk back, but let me assure you it was reflection at its finest.
So I take this memory and offer it to all of you and encourage a late night walk through the snow. I guarantee you will feel at "Peace."
